How to Intentionally Pray for Your Future Husband (Even Before You Meet Him)

 One of the most powerful things a single woman can do isn't just waiting — it's praying. Not vague, prayers, but intentional ones. Here's a simple framework for praying for your future husband, even now, before you've met him.

Pray for his relationship with God first. Not his relationship with you first — his relationship with the Lord. A man who is truly walking with God will know how to lead, how to serve, and how to love, because he's learning it from the source.

Pray for his character, not just his qualities. It's easy to pray for tall, kind, ambitious. Pray deeper: integrity when no one's watching, humility under correction, patience under pressure.

Pray for his healing. Whatever he walked through before he met you — disappointment, rejection, past mistakes — pray that God does the healing work in him now, so he doesn't bring an unhealed version of himself into your marriage.

Pray for your own readiness too. Praying for a future husband isn't only about him. Ask God to keep preparing your own heart at the same time, so that when you meet, two prepared people are building together — not one prepared person carrying two.
